Risk Disclosure
Trading currencies, gold and equity indices — by hand or with software — carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. This page is the part of the site we would most like you to actually read.
You can lose money, and people do
Trading involves a substantial risk of loss. You can lose some, all, or under some conditions more than the capital you put at risk. Only trade money whose loss would not change your life. Leverage magnifies a loss exactly as efficiently as it magnifies a gain, and even at the modest leverage our systems are designed for — 1:30 or lower — a bad run can take a meaningful part of an account.
We sell software, not outcomes
EABotz is a software vendor. We do not hold your funds, do not place trades for you and do not manage accounts. Every order the software generates is executed on your own account, under your own control, and the consequences are yours. Nobody here has any visibility of your balance or any ability to intervene in your trading.
Risks specific to automated trading
- Software can contain defects, and can behave unexpectedly in market conditions it has not previously encountered. Every model is fitted to a past that will not repeat exactly.
- A dropped connection, a broker outage, a platform update, a full disk or a machine that goes to sleep can all stop orders reaching the market — including the order that would have closed a losing position.
- Gaps, thin liquidity, spread widening, requotes and slippage can produce a loss materially worse than the stop level a strategy intended.
- Automation removes hesitation in both directions. A system that is wrong repeats being wrong quickly and without getting tired.
- Past behaviour, including behaviour on a live account, tells you what happened. It does not tell you what will.
Risks that come from your side
- Your broker’s spread, commission, swap rates and execution quality directly change your result, and they are not the same as ours.
- Raising the risk setting above what the setup guide specifies changes the system’s behaviour into something we have never run and cannot speak for.
- Starting and stopping the software during a drawdown converts a temporary loss into a permanent one. It is the single most common way an otherwise workable system loses money.
Nothing here is advice
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. EABotz is not a broker, an exchange or a registered investment adviser. If you need advice about your own circumstances, take it from somebody licensed to give it.
What is expected of you
You are responsible for understanding what you have bought, testing it on a demo account with your own broker before funding it, setting risk parameters you can live with, keeping the platform running, and complying with the rules of your broker and your jurisdiction. If you are not willing to do those things, do not buy automated trading software — from us or from anyone.
Read this alongside the Performance Disclaimer and the Terms of Service. If you do not accept the risks described here, do not purchase or use the software.
